I came off my plates at the start of the month so I can legally drive at 100km now, ohhh fun (not that I didnt do that before actually I was so bad I hardly put my plates up!). On saying that Im not a speed demon and I drive quite carefully.
The legal speed limit on L's is 100kph, isn't it?

Forgot to mention Im off my P plates (but still on them for another 2 years officially). In Tassy the speed limit is 80Km on L plates and 1st year P plates (when plates are up). Im on my 2nd year so I can go 100km.

You CAN drive up to 100/kmh when on Ls but unless your on a country road or the freeway i dont think you would.

do not go to joondalup, compared to city west it is 500x harder

Welshpool is the best place to do it.
Followed by Willagee, Joondalup and Kelmscott.
Suicide missions: Morley and City West. I would really respect someone if they can pass at Morley on the first shot.

The guy I had wasn't too bad. I had a bet with a mate that i'd get mine first, he had his test the week after and failed within about 2 minutes for trying a hill start in second. Profit!

Wow, its been a long time... Anyway sorry for bringing up an old thread.
I've got my driving test at 1pm in Welshpool. Absolutely shitting myself... I don't think i'm ready (my parking is so average... I havn't practiced it enough).
I hope they don't make me do some reverse parallel bullshit. But I know they will. Oh and if he/she makes me do a uturn or 3 point turn. No practice on that :s.
Oh well, might as well give it a go and get some experience out of it and then pass the next time. I hope i don't do something stupid and get an Automatic fail...

I've been too proud to book lessons (I have a thing about lessons.. its why I didn't take up bass guitar despite how much I wanted to) but I need my licence, so I suppose I'll bite the bullet, swallow my pride and take the plunge.
I've heard only bad things from Willagee. I was contemplating doing it in Rockingham myself, less of a wait.
