Everyone needs to get off this kids back. he is a Second year player and somebody in this thread said he is still only 18.
Rowe is actually 20 years of age. But I agree, he is only a 2nd year player with a lot of development left in him.

At Brisbane or Port pre this year he wouldn't have played more than 3 games yet and people wouldn’t know his shortcomings. He has potential but right now he is under sized, needs to learn a fair bit particularly about decision making and needs to improve his kicking a heck of a lot. His set shot kicking seems good so he isn’t a write off but allowing him to get away with some of the disposal he comes up with is not good for his future. He has to go back and be kept in the VFL until he kicks better.

I am sick of the rubbish our players produce when they get the ball. It is time we made some sort of stand. The fact is we will never be able to win a premiership with the disposal skills we have. We have to trade or delist a number of the culprits and we have to get improvement from the rest. You cannot win tough games when you have poor skills across the board. A few years back we axed players of the ilk of Godden, Wilde and King. Then we dumped the likes of Dimmatina and subsequently made some calls on players like Steinfort while sending the likes of Johnson back to the twos. We are at that point again. The sad thing is that we got there again. How you can CONTINUALLY draft players with poor footskills is beyond a joke.

There is time to save Rowe but unless it is done now he will forever be a danger to us and will ultimately go by the wayside.

Does anyone agree with me that Rowe shows a lot of potential in regards to his inside game as he can grab the ball out of a tight sitation and run out of trouble; there have been many times when Rowe is on the wing in a 1 on 2 contest and he manages to keep the ball in, not to be tackled and wait for support to dish of a handball. However this side of his game is sporadic much like his kicking.
