Gilbert
Grimes
Deledio
Broughton
Enright

I understand the downside in Gilbert playing forward.

Thoughts on the best option of the above would be appreciated.

Is he set to move to a forward type role or will he be HBF/midfield rotation

Uncertainty on whether Otten will be the sub or not. I say aim for 50+ from Duigan.

Use the loophole ... Put Otten on the field and Duigan as emergency.

If Duigan scores shit (< 50), keep it as it is.

If Duigan scores 50+, sub Otten off for a GC player so you get Duigan's score. Risk there is that you'll cop a zero if any of your other backs are late withdrawals (unlikely in round 1).

To anyone who saw the Brisbane game Saturday night, does it seem like Adcock's DT friendly scoring days are over? I hear he plays more of a shutdown role now, and I'm thinking it might be better cutting my ties before the price change, to someone like Otten. I always knew he'd be a risk, but my structure always seemed better with him in it. In hindsight though, he really was a poor choice.

I don't think I'll even start him this week, favoring Stanley instead.

With some of the Lions senior players now injured it's time for Adcock to step up big time. As one of our Vice Captains he is going to be trying his guts out, i'd hold on for a few more weeks & see how he goes.

You have atleast another week til you have to make a call on Adcock. He isn't a huge possession getter, but he isn't a lock down player either. He does need to play defensively in our team, but we do get a bit of run from him. I think he can score better, and you do need to take note of our injury situation during that game. All of our players were out of puff by the end, so i'd expect a bit better from Adcock.

Thought he was pretty impressive early but drifted out of the game as it went on TBH. With more game time under his belt I am sure he will be fine and start to put out some higher scores..
