Im thinking of bringing in Lecras in my SC team, Im a little worried as his scores are either up or down and i think its dependent on where he plays.
What sort of role is Lecras to play for the rest of the season?
He seemed to have started fwd then played mid and now is back playing forward. Maybe im wrong but of the few games ive seen this is what ive noticed.
Thanks in advance

Need to trade Harris (Suns) out for someone at least getting a game for as currently in GF week if one of my starting midfielders is to miss I cop a zero as Curnow and his Blues have the bye.

Cash not really a problem but wouldn't mind making some money out of it so tossing up trading down to Jolly (Suns and initially dropped before last weeks game before late inclusion where he scored 90 odd. Has been getting a fair bit of the ball) or Ebert. Ebert has been scoring very low all year (despite last week), seems to get little of the ball and has plummeted in price but is at least starting on the field in probably the 2nd best team in the comp right now.

Re: Lecras - won't be a permanent mid I would think, he'll be used where needed. In terms of SC, I have little idea, but he's one to stay away from in DT.

Re: Ebert - will tend to attract the green vest and his best use at the moment seems to be as a half-forward flanker type and not in the guts or picking up cheap ball. In other words, not a DT friendly role.

Considering getting LeCras in DT.
Averaged 56 against Collingwood, Carlton, Geelong and Essendon (in rd2 when they were killing it)
Has averaged 108 this year in the other 9 games. - Didnt count rd1 injury.

Has an awesome draw coming home with no top 8 teams and therefore seems like a solid pick.
Haven't really paid much attention to where he plays this year to me it still just seems like the half forward area. Is there any risk involved in getting him and his role changing to not be DT friendly?
Why has he increased his scoring so much this year?

He's been playing up the ground in a midfield role this year instead of playing closer to goals, hence why his disposal stats are up but his goal kicking is way down on last year

Ah thanks for that. Any reason for him to stop playing as much midfield time in the weeks to come? Perhaps when Kerr returns.

I wouldn't think so no, with Nicoski being reinvented up forward this year and our 3 talls of Kennedy, Lynch and Darling providing a target in the forward 50 we aren't as dependent on LeCras as in previous seasons

Thanks mate looking like Higgins -> LeCras
Good luck with the rest of the season unless we play you come finals of course.

Very hesitant to get LeCras now. JJK out should mean he plays deep forward and I read that Kerr out was a big reason he went through the midfield.
When he comes back I would think LeCras will lose midfield time...averages 111 without Kerr, and 82 with this year so the stats would agree.

Will he will stay in midfield when Kerr returns?

I need a couple of premium backs to complete my side. Is Beau Waters a good pick? Seems to be scoring well. Its my first year playing DT so not sure how good a scorer Beau was in years gone by.
