In trying to find ‘competition’ for the likes of Libba & Curnow who are all the rage in the SC/DT world right now…and perhaps look to future rds as opposed to last weeks points, do people here have any thoughts on Gaff?
With you guys already beaten up by injuries ~ Masten, Walters, LeCras…the kid Gaff has started both games with the vest on…and has now scored 58/60 SC. BIg wraps from you guys so far I would think, and two very good SC scores considering he played 2 1/2 Q’s in Rd 1 and 2 Q’s in Rd 2.
Obviously being eased into playing with the big boys, but that option maybe no longer be avail. considering the injuries and his sparkling form?
Do you think we might be saying next week , damn wish I had Gaff or do alot of the WCE SC players already have him?

When Swan as captian gets 350, 2280 is not great IMO.

Well, Gaff and Woosh have proved me wrong, I didn't think he would play untill late to mid season. I imagine now, with his performance I think he will play most games. A bye in round 5 will give him a rest and he is a keeper. As for sub in most games, who knows. I think he is best as a sub.
Be interesting to see what other WC folk say.

** Cheers DTF.....would be interested to see what others think as well....but SC/DT aside, me thinks you have found a gem in this kid....will take a couple of years obviously, but with the likes of Darling & Gaff you have some seriously good young talent.
A few of us on another thread are also discussing Mr Shuey....who is 'still' only 21 yrs old....great to see this kid play as well.

I don't think he will personally, just my gut, but I've thought it all summer. He might get 5-10 games but I don't see many more. Phil Davis, if you don't already have, is less and will play every game.

I had Libba on the bench and Shuey as my last mid going into round 1, there both starting to challenge the 2nd and 3rd mids.

Had Everitt in my team after a good pre-season and the fact Sydney recycled players usually go well.
Traded him out before this round because he was playing sht for him to go on and score 125....
