Way to much money on the bench. Find some rookies who will play round 1, or some lower priced players.

No need to spend nearly 300K on your ruck bench, downgrade one, if not both.

Ward is probably a little too pricey for a bench spot also(especially considering he isn't guaranteed a starting 22 spot), but if you want him, keep him.

Get rid of Croad for a cheaper option who will play, or a rookie.

Watts probably won't be the best cash cow, and is that Matthew Stokes on the bench?? Put him on the field Lol.

Rooke, O'Brien, Harley, Renouf, Edwards(if it is Aaron, as he is suspended) are the main ones I'd be looking at upgrading.


Overall, to much money on the bench equates to a fairly weak starting line up. Not enough keepers IMO.

use the 100k to upgrade Lovett and Headland and/or Veszpremi/Lucas. everything else looks good considering Yarran being the only rookie on the field.

Big yes from me H2G, they all have upside imho. KJ is out for a while for the tigers as well so Tuck should keep up his minutes. Last year he was our most benched player.
 
What do people think of this ruck choice
Cox > J White > Vickery > Currie

Rucks are not bad. Vickery won't play though, at least early.

It could pay off, but really Hille/Sandi will be so far ahead of everyone else for 2nd/3rd it may be hard to even upgrade to them at the end.

Would you say the first one? Cause looking at keepers I'd say the first 1, but I like the 2nd 1 better. :p

I know it isn't anywhere near finished, I am really thinking about replacing Fisher, Davis, Judd, Thomas and maybe Hasleby.
 
Oh ffs this is getting ridiculous lol. The amount of times I've changed my team, been happy only to not be happy with something the next day..

Already tried the, "won't touch it for a couple of weeks" trick, that lasted all of three days, and those three days I wasn't home :p

Think about simmonds and fraser - both of them cant be keepers can they? Unless you plan on going the whole year without cox, which probably isnt wise.

If i had cox and hille, hille would be a keeper. If i had cox and simmo, simmo would be a keeper, but having simmo and hille does not = 2 keepers IMO.

Get onto fanfooty, and look at what each player averaged in the last few years. Then think about your expectations of each player, and then what average you want you keepers to be for each position (say mids averaging 90+, backs averaging 80+ etc etc). Then see how many of your players you see fitting this criteria.

haha dw about me, I was just trying to work out which 1 you rated higher ;). I have Cox and Hille fwiw, no problems for me. :D
 
ok finally i think i have settled and made a team ill be happy with for round one.. Until the end of this weeks matches or I read the freako email anyway..

Thoughts/Advice??

Emerg: Suban, Petrenko, Beams, Robinson, Graham, Pyke, Hogan, Gumbleton/M.brown/ballantyne/next best 86000 player..

About 13k left over...
