The only 2 concerns i have are Geary and Smith
I was thinking of trading geary for dempsey
and smith for staker or lucas, or someoen under $278,000

Its not that bad... Hill is his only rookie... Which is good.

Josh Smith and Westhoff are horrible choices but if he can get someone decent for those 2 i think its a half decent team. Better than 50% on this thread thats for sure.

I agree, not bad at all. I think he can do better than Smith and Westhoff like you said BB but otherwise that is a decent side. Stick to your guns mate.

thown that team together, the backs are the weak line but i believe petterd is up for a big year.

Just back yourself - dont change ur mind on anything anyone says on here. Make your own decisions (as hard as that is).

I have no problem with him picking up Bird if he actually thinks he'll average well. I just want to make sure he knows why he's picking Bird, rather than thinking 'He was great value last year so he'll be great value again' or something like I did in my first year.

P.S. Everyone stop picking Foley. Averaged 24 touches in '07 for only 81 dream team points, says it all. Unless you think he's going to change his role or average about 30 touches a game there's no point picking him.

I wouldn't say that. Smith is a 23 year old key forward, who says this won't be his breakout year? And Westy's looked very impressive in the PS, had a crap game against Geelong but scored 85, 92 and 86 in the other three games. It's not enough for me personally to pick him, but I think calling him a horrible choice is a bit harsh.

Mids - Ablett, J. Selwood, Masten, Hill, Gibbs, C. Cornes Put Chadlicious in the backs
Bench - Ziebell, Swift

Rucks - McIntosh, Kruezer Sirens should be going off here
Bench - Spencer, Currie

Forwards - Deledio, Franklin, Murphy, Houlihan, J. Anthony, Skipworth, Sidebottom Watch to see if Sidey is named, Beams probably ahead of him ATM, you have good bench cover though
Bench - M. Brown (WCE), Gumbleton

I've got 60K left over as well...and I think you should spend it.

I dont think you can say this? He's showed in the nab cup IMO that he has the potential to average 85-90 which is solid! While he may struggle alot with a tag, it could be argued that cousins and deledio will release him from this at times. Just my opinion though.

I like your team, your strategy is quite clear, although not sure about: Petterd, Houli, and Hill. They could all be liabilities on your starting line up.

So really it comes down to Richo & Hodge v Pav & Didak, and then a difference in structure having either 3 or 4 premiums in either forwards or backs. Any thoughts appreciated guys.

Looks pretty good. My only comment would be that you can usually pick up Browny on the cheap after a dirty game or two.

Anyone have any opinions. Maybe foward line is a bit weak, also not sure about my rookie rucks, I just picked cheap ones. I recall Knights having good scores, but I never actually searched up his stats or anything.
