Dudstin Mamtin: History is fast showing him to be Shane Woewodin Mk II

All football fans had to admire Dusty's 2017; one of the all time great individual seasons winning nearly every award on offer. In 2017 he joined Fyfe, Ablett, Robbie Gray and Franklin as a superstar of the competition.

Fast forward 12 months and he is a shell of what is was last year. Naturally it's difficult to sustain such high levels but he's fallen off a cliff this season. Averaging less goals, less tackles and over 25% less touches. This to me is showing 2017 was an anomaly, much the same as Woewodin's 2000 fluke year.

Mamtin in 2020 according to player tracking using afl.com.au/playerpredictor/Mamtin

Consider this; he is no longer in the top 10% of players at his club; a club built on an assortment of role potatoes. Tugger fans will surely dispute this but is he better in 2018 than the following:

Caddy - no
Riewoldt - no
Rance - arguably but probably not
Cotchin - no
Vlaustin - no

At this rate, Mamtin will struggle to get 20 Brownlow votes - a 30% drop from last year. Probably one of the biggest hangover years the game has seen. All this is showing that Dudstin = Shane Woewodin Mk II

Exhibit A: Dane Swan

Fat plodder who suddenly appeared to be able to run all day and gather possessions at will.

Exhibit B: Dustin Martin

Unfit plodder who generally tired after 2 quarters of football and stopped running. Became close with Swan and suddenly found fitness and running ability ... now he's back to the old Dusty who tires after a half.

Is there any connection here?

My investigations have brought up some damning evidence.

Has Martin's sudden loss of form coincided with his father's deportation back to New Zealand?

Apparently Dusty's been playing "injured" this year, which is the same excuse the Handbaggers are using for Dangerflog.

Seems fair enough, although I can't seem to recall a genuine great of the sport like Sam Mitchell having any s**t years while playing most games. Then again Sammy never relied on media hype to pump up his tyres, instead he quietly went about polling the same number of Brownlow votes as Scablett despite receiving a fraction of the kudos.... but at least he can cradle his 4 Premiership medals as he cries himself to sleep over Robbo's lack of praise, right? :drunk:

Back on the subject of Dusty, its worth mentioning I rate him much higher than Dangercuck - he actually knows how to kick a footy, kind of a handy skill in a sport call football.

Come on, Dusty doesn't have anywhere near Stagerfield's diving skills !

In the games that mattered, how many times can you count where Dangerfield has stood up? In the games that mattered, how many times can you count when Dusty has stood up? That’s why Martin is actually better than Danger.

Exhibit C. Gary Ablett jnr, once rated as a possible GOAT, while playing under the Dank led Cats, now more of a goat f@cker, has been known to allow Nankers to out manouver and goal on him.
Close links to a number of well known drug users and suppliers, neither Dusty nor Swan would be seen dead with this bane of society, coincidence, I think not.

Lol are we actually still comparing these two, Danger is to busy flopping for frees to stand up when needed, Dusty still 3rd in line for a second Brownlow, Danger in the running for a movember award, for best gay porn moustache in show.

Dangerfield has had a better season to date and career. And he's the better player.
