Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
This is still a favourite for me:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I thought I'd start this thread where you can post some of the dumbest crimes commited. They can be current or old stories.
Here is one that happened in the carpark of Belmont [Geelong] Kmart carpark on saturday.A woman was leaving a parking spot when an old guy stopped her.She would down the window and he suddenly produced a knife and carjacked her.He then drove a short distance and then stopped to load some bags. The reason he was caught - he uses a walking frame so he was so slow loading the bags that he got caught

See alot of mild idiots on the road as it is. Makes me want to get a dashcam to shame them.Scary that idiots like this actually drive on our roads.
Not quite on the same level as Dayle Garlett who stole clothes the morning of his court appointment because he wanted to look good for the judge.Heard of a guy today caught speeding and on his phone.
The idiot's excuse:-
I was running late for court.
Seriously, what a dope!

Good old mental health issues excuse. I'm sure some are legit, but it's not a mental health issue for being dumb.http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au...d/news-story/268523898ec5b2524bc6951337a345fc
I remember reading about this when it happened. How did he not spot the cop vehicles, even if they were unmarked ?
You'd think there would've been more than one police car and they would've either been in the driveway or outside the house.
Heard a story about some tool in the eastern suburbs (Lilydale or Mooroolbark IIRC) a few months ago, litter empty Carlton Draught cans in the same street in the same spot over an 18 month period or something.
People who lived in the street eventually caught him in the act one morning driving to work.
That's a lot of pi55 he must've consumed and add on the littering fine on top of that.
Whoops,we just tried to rob the cops
