i traded corey jones the week before he got 107

so since i dropped him: 107, 150, 93, 111.. an increase of bout $100k

just enhances my dt luck.. i traded hodge last yr the week b4 he got his first 100 - and well we know how that all ended up..

Not picking Josh Fraser was my biggest mistake.....
Picking up Everitt and Tredrea thinking they would finish the season off well.
Not leaving Barry Hall as captain every week.
Using all my trades before round 14, including bringing in Andrew Lee with my final trade. It was like the time Peter Griffin chose the mystery box.

Jees you must be struggling!

Trading West for Lenny the week before the Kangas game and putting him as captain. Got 32, out for the year West's next 5 weeks 119 108 90 135 134.

Getting Tredrea was a silly silly move!!

Picking up Cleve ****in Hughes instead of Dunn as my 9th forward has cost me dearly as ive played R17 & 18 with only 6 forwards whilst big Clevage struggles down at Coburg!!!

Not selling Trent Croad...

I've had him all year, had heaps of chances to get rid of him, but it never happened.

Also trading Pavlich after round 2 because "he was going to go down in value"

I think they have been my worst moves :D

Selecting Brad Miller at the start of the year as I thought he would have a breakthrough season. Even worse, never trading him off throughout the year either due to having to trade other injured players when I wanted to get rid of Miller, or by him jumping back in the team for a week just when i decided i needed to save some trades. I still have him in my team:mad: , although as my reserve backman with Hurn...

Making unnecessary trades at the start of the year and have now run out of trades with Charman, Biglands, Mooney getting suspended every second week along with Murphy and Thomas injured on my bench. Got 1850 last week with 3 short. Into the prelim but will be very lucky to win it.

worst move was trading cox for gardiner bloody gardz shows form in the first half agaisnt sydney with 39 at halftime only gets 51 the gets ****ed and drives. treadrea wasted 2 trades on that, i got lenny then 3 weeks latter he got injured (was worth it he is a star). DANIEL JACKSON AT THE START OF THE YEAR!!! (THANKGOD I TRADED HIM ROUND 3 FOR SWAN:)}
started paul johnson first week

fraser- in my squad next year wat a super star...i know im a coolingwood bias

dont say that stuff in this thread start a new one this is worst pick ups man!

Not trading Jonathan Brown when he was injured... Waited for 2 weeks before pulling the trigger... 218 points wasted as I played with a 0 on both occasions... Bruce cam in on the 3rd week at a rate of $389,000. I would be sitting on 36,802 points and in 8th position as opposed to 11th... 263 points behind leader is much better than 481 with 3 weeks to go...

Tredrea was a pathetic inclusion also…

Hindsight is a wonderful thing… The fu<ked thing is, “I can’t blame the umpires”

Tredrea... Was always going to be a gamble, a shame it didn't pay off.

Trying to sort out my backline at the beginning of the year, I had to find a cheap back who would go alright, was watching the footy show and someone said somethign about Dempster, well that was a dud choice :S

traded l.ball for haselby early on when l.ball got injured, ended up only missing 1-2 games and haselby has been ****e (ended up trading him as well)

Trading Marc Seaby in for Laycock ( not to mention having laycock in the first place) on the same week Seaby was dropped for Gardiner. To add to this it was my second last trade which meant i couldnt cash in on Jonathon browns value and trade him in for his 425000 and get 2 quality players with the money.

IDIOT

1) Goddard in original team, traded him the week he got dropped for Campbell Brown.

2) Finally pulling trigger on N.G Brown trade, the week before he does the hammy and is out for the season.

3) Making a decision on my 4th last trade, narrowed my trade down to 2 people, Jason Roe and Pat Bowden (at his lowest). Since then Bowden's average is 99 and Roe's is 74.

Best decision by far has been my captains, average of 104.9 for my captaincy.

i think i have the grand daddy of all the dumbest moves of all time this year

in the 2nd week of finals i lost by less than 100points. on that friday afternoon, i agonised and agonised. finally i chose j.brennan over mcpharlin as the no.7 in my backline. both had no form coming in but brennan was averaging 65+ and mcpharlin barely 50 for the season.

come sunday afternoon brennan has pulled in a typical shocker with about 14points or so, and mcpharlin pulls out a season high 120+. i'm gutted and booted out of the finals.

this coupled with the fact my captain judd got 40 points or so didn't help either.

dumb trading moves
1. getting tredrea midway thru the season thinking he'd get some form
2. getting brennan and s.johnson for the 2nd year running thinking they'd finally break out
3. trading bartel for haselby around rd. 4 think haselby would average 100+, he's around 75 and missed several games
4. trading symes for hurn

well, the sole purpose of buying symes in the 1st place was to get some money. after he maxed his price, i sold him, thinking hurn would do the same thing. too bad, he hasn't been give the games to prove it
