Could someone tell me what Dunlop and Puma originally specialised in, before branching out and creating new products?

I think Dunlop originally starting making tyres and stuff? Not sure though.

Anyone know?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Puma was created by Rudolf Dassler, the brother of Adi Dassler (who founded Adidas). A rival sports shoe company.
