We don’t have unlimited spots on our rookie list. It’s currently full as it stands pending any last minute promotions to the senior list or delistings.

Likely to have only 3 picks in the rookie draft at most but sure let’s waste one spot on a player who couldn’t prove his fitness in the one year he was on our list.

Especially when we have gotten so much value from guys like toby pink, maibaum, and amartey

They each have provided more value than Tucker has. In any case Amartey has been re-contracted twice now, while Pink and Maibaum are still in limbo for next year but only Pink can free up a rookie list spot which will likely happen via being promoted to the senior list.

We can’t just keep everyone

To take Pink over Maibaum would be silly, ACL or not, Maibaum is by far the better player. He’s the one groomed for Grundy’s position and would’ve played in it this year without a doubt!
