Contact between Hawthorn's Taylor Duryea and the Sydney Swans' Ben McGlynn from the second quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. McGlynn receives the ball and snaps the ball towards goal as Duryea comes towards him in an attempt to smother the kick. Duryea has his arms out in a bid to smother when he makes contact with McGlynn and it was the view of the panel he had no realistic alternative way to contest the ball.

I know it happened pretty quick but I'm sure he left the ground, turned the body and copped him head high (not hard to do when it's Ben and Taylor :) )

Oh well - you see what you want to see - take it and move on

Dermie went to town on goodes tonight on sen pre game. Said he is courageous when it comes to playin with his own injuries but too scared to put his head over it and would rather use his foot and potentially break someone's leg than put his head over it. Also said gibbo when he came to the bench was cursing goodes weak act. I'm paraphrasing a bit and it is derm so take it with a grain of salt but very interesting radio!

Not surprised. Goodes and Judd have significant similarities...
