So we have moved into a new rental house and despite lush green lawns, and reasonable garden beds, we are stunned at the amount of dust that accumulates in our house.

Dust.

Where from?

Actually, there is plenty of evidence that financially you are better off renting and using the extra saved income to invest in growth assets. The only issue with renting, in Australia, is the short-term nature of residential leases.

Well my mortgage is only slightly more a fortnight than the current weekly rent of a place like this. You must have a dusty place.

A lot of it is roofing insulation. That shit just floats on down through the ceiling.

And skin. Lots and lots of skin. Next time you look at your housemates or kiddies, bear in mind that you are regularly inhaling bits of their flesh, rubbing it all over your naughty bits when you shower, and sticking it in your mouth when you brush your teeth.

Really the only rational solution to this predicament involves a hospital gown, tissue box shoes and carefully collecting jars of urine to bathe in.

I don't know where it comes from, but judging by the amount of dust and fluff I excavate from my belly button in the shower each morning a lot of it seems to find it's way there.
