was up early this morning watching the aussies in their world cup qualifier and couldn't help but think our most capped international player Mark Schwarzer is similar in some ways to Fletch. sure - he plays an international game and not just a national game but hes old (40), still very reliable and humble like fletch as well. Love these type of guys and what they bring to sport...heres hoping fletch has another great year in 2013

The great Mark Schwarzer, currently plays in the English premier league, has made over 100 international appearances for Australia, and is on target to play in the Brazil world cup in 2014 at age 42!

Saw a few games this feller played this year. Once he gets his body right and settles into the backline could make a real impact for our team. Potential AA and could be one of the best. Oh shit that was my review of the first season i saw him play. Top bloke and clubman and mega stoked he is playing on.

I remember an article written a few years ago where they had 4 football "experts" revise the team of the century and one of them had Fletch in the back pocket.
