Yes I believe dangerflop was carrying an acute case of guiltI've listened to radio replays of the prelim and it was amazing how much the game changed after half time.
Does anyone know if Dangerfield was injured and/or carrying something?

He's much better. Clearly. Head and shoulders. It's not even close.YYYYYYAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWNNNN....Barry Badbreath. No Martin is not better than Dangerfield but he plays in a better team!
Nathan Buckley is a Collingwood great but he would not rate above a player like Michael Voss. Are we not comparing individual players or great players in great teams?
Nathan Buckley, Robbie Flower, Bobby Skilton & Haydn Bunton all considered legends of their clubs and in the greatest players to ever play the game.
Never won any VFL/AFL premierships are are never marked down for doing so.

Maybe somebody should start a Voss v Buckley v Hird thread.Nathan Buckley is a Collingwood great but he would not rate above a player like Michael Voss.
Pendlebury would be rated over Bucks now played over 300 games & has a flag.
Indeed. You've always been a man of impeccable judgement. There has only ever been one Royce Hart. Another unique one. It's not as if there are any other contenders for the best CHF ever.
Not in the QF he wasn'tHe was brilliant in the 2017 finals.
Definitely poor last year and backed it up with two fairly mediocre performances this year.
Chris Scott was full of s**t when he said Dangerfield was sore over the last 2 weekends of the seasonDangers effort against the Pies in the QF was monumental...reckon that's why he was fading by the 2nd half of the prelim..

He was frightened. And then Cotchin decided Diverfraud wouldn't get a kick for the rest of the game.Yes, he had hurt feelings after Dusty pushed him at half time
Not in the QF he wasn't
He pooped his pants under pressure. Game high 13 turnovers, 5 out of bounce on the full, 42.5% DE, with only 14 of his 31 disposals effective.
He wasn't benched he was up forward, you need to find a way to help your team win Danger couldn't do that.Danger's wasted legacy wasn't helped by Chris Scott benching him at half time in the pre-lim.

It still amazes me how little such an exaggerated bit of stagging wasn't commented on by the media, yet joe public spotted it straight away.Yes I believe dangerflop was carrying an acute case of guilt
Diverflop is a serial stager. It still amazes me how little such an exaggerated bit of stagging wasn't commented on by the media, yet joe public spotted it straight away.
Lost a lot of respect for Dangerfield after that, especially when he tried to glorify it and rub it in Martin's face.
If Lindsay Thomas or the likes had done it the commentators would have been all over it.Diverflop is a serial stager.
Or Alex Rance, or Dylan Grimes, or Jack Riewioldt...If Lindsay Thomas or the likes had done it the commentators would have been all over it.
Probably because he carries on like a flog on and off the field. Dusty just gets on with it... the Dusty's and Swannies of the footy world are what most people identify with. The Chris Scott's and Patrick dangerfield's of the footy world are what makes most people cringe.

Don’t let the Clanger stats in that game get in the way of a good story , he was brilliant in that gameNot in the QF he wasn't

SEN Rankings for the 2017 QF.Don’t let the Clanger stats in that game get in the way of a good story , he was brilliant in that game
Semi final and prelim final.
He and Selwood tried their guts out.
Selwood is one of Geelong's greatest big game performers. Even this season when he looked cooked at certain stages, he was the same old brilliant Selwood in September.
