Was hoping someone could help me out settle a dispute. Says on the RFC website he is 188cm tall. But reading over a thread on JR over the weekend it said the RFC stats were not up to date and he had grown over the summer.

Does anyone have an up to date height for Martin, has he grown over the summer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

so he shrunk over summer. Must be all the heavy weights...
ah no overload on the heavy weights. when he got to the club, he actually got advised that he was already too big and did not need to be "smashing the gym" - source, got a mate who is best mates with one of the players.

he actually got to the club at:
Height: 186cm
Weight: 87.5kg

so obviously he has grown and filled out a little. i'm absolutely loving dusty this year.

Would be fantastic if one of our Mods could organise a weekly blog for an hour or so with someone from the club to answer questions like this and the rookie spot(s) etc. :)

Sorry to crash, was looking for a thread on Dusty as have just started to really love his footy.

Commentators said he's living with the Chairman, was that a mid-season move that's conincided with his real good footy?

Everyone needs to keep a lid on it.

Martin could be a very special player.

We just need to empower him to reach his potential which will be scary for the opposition and and delight for us supporters

I personally think he should be the favourite for the Rising Star this year. Mr consistency... Another 20 touches, 2 goals... Kid is a star! Pushes players away with ease.. Cannot be tagged!

i am going to go out on a limb here and suggest the Demons are going to rue the day they opted for Scully and not Martin...the end. The kid is a weapon of mass destruction that knows what to do, when to do it and how to execute it...and that in his first 3 minutes of his AFL career. Is it any wonder the GC or GWS would be throwing truckloads of cash towards him, they would be stupid not to.;)

What the Dustman does to grown men as an 18 yo is just not natural. If he gets any more physical the other teams are going to have to take a restraining order out on him. I'm loving it. Our very own battering ram.

he's so confident and strong for his age and loves pushing his opponent away from a tackle.

apparently he has been weightlifting for a few years which explains a lot. he will have a build like deledio's in a year or two

he's a first year player so can't expect too much, but for a first year player he is outstanding.

He played more of an outside role yesterday, only had 1 clearance for the match so his 14 disposals were around the ground rather than at stoppages. He was tagged pretty heavily after that stunning first quarter.
