I'll make this pact, if this happens, roadtrip, pickup kangatime from adelaide on the way.
Done.

So is it down to Albany/Mt Barker way, then pretty much due East for 2700-odd clicks?

(With a stop off after about 2000.)

Thats my understanding.

Rent a caravan, get a few other posters involved. Non stop to adeliade, refresh and load up again.

North Melbourne theme song on loop the whole trip?

Ha, I see you're are Richardson Park. Heard one of the best pre-game lines ever while waiting to umpire a Curtin Trinity game there. The captain had his team in a huddle and was giving them a rousing speech when he grabs one of the players by the shirt and screams, LOOK AT US, WE'RE NOT ORANGE FRUIT, WE'RE ORANGE PIRATES!!!

I pissed myself anytime the ball went near him and couldn't blow the whistle to give him a free.
Correct mate. Live just a couple of Malcolm Blight torpedoes away (or maybe Mark Knowles overheads, on the hockey analogy) from the home of the mighty WASPS. To complicate things just slightly, my son plays for WASPS but I actually play for Melville.

You certainly get some very good value sledges/one-liners/coaching rev-ups in the hockey scene here. As with most amateur sport where it's nice and competitive, I guess.

I just got a suspension from the Dusty thread in the main board....

I got a warning for saying a Blues supporter warmed my heart when he criticised North for trying to buy superstars... Judd, Diesel, Barrassi say hi.

And despite North being called irrelevant 1000 times in the thread, I suggested that the Tigs may lose some relevance once Dusty leaves.
Yeah this is ******. The mods allow the relocation shit to go but the hammer comes down on that stuff.

Questioning the Ye olde trade mods may have contributed.

Feel dirty liking your post. Melville was probably the club I hated the most!!

This has to be the final nail for Dusty.

Richmond are keeping a "tamp" on the books

"Cardinal George Pell will keep his honorary role at AFL club Richmond as he faces sex offence charges.

"In light of Cardinal Pell's fundamental rights to the presumption of innocence and to a fair trial, he will remain a vice-patron of the club pending the outcome of any trial," Gale told Fox Footy."

Jeeze. Not even we were thick enough to link the two topics Baker.

Here was me thinking we were a pretty decent, inoffensive lot.

Unlike ... ohh let's see -

Wolves
Lions
Hale
(insert personal choice of disliked western suburbsy-based team in Perth comp)
Never played hockey, just footy and TAs, Wesley Curtin, CBC, Rossmoyne all rich boy twat clubs

Well (steering things back to something remotely close to 'on topic') - talking A Grade WA Amateurs football here now for anyone whose idea of a nice trip to Perth is heading to the north of Scotland.

I've got a couple of nephews who are stalwarts at Wesley Curtin over many years. There were dramas there leading up to this season when Curtin Uni, which has provided the home ground but SFA else to the club's strong results over the last 10-15 or so seasons, insisted on pulling rank and switching the name to "Curtin University Wesley".

Led to a fair few disgruntled boys and the club was lucky to get by with very few walkouts.
