All your band wagoners have to go somewhere after you bounce out of finals early again.

Can't wait to see Dusty give cotch n co the don't argue and dominate Richmond in the blue and white, as north has done for years and years.

Pick 2 won't be so bad I guess.

We get that while you get Dusty who will retire before you are ready to contend again anyway.. WOuldn't you prefer pick 2?
LOL we add Dusty and/or Kelly and we, once again, go past you at a rate of knots.

norf fan just said that dusty might push their members tally to 50k.

I said "woah, bit of an overreaction there. Dusty is a gun but I doubt he will get you 49k new members"

Mod asked me to leave so thats enough trolling for me :p

You're crazy.

Anyways, mods, admitted to trolling, that's a day off if I'm not mistaken

B Gale is his name, what a douche, never gamble with top talent.. at least Carwo will be happy with her beloved tigers now.. she finally got her man.

They lose Dusty and they will start turning on each other in true Richmond fashion.

You should be more concerned with the thousands that will committ hari kari by diving off the top of your Dusty fueled bandwagon.

Surely there is something here for the more talented photoshop types among us. 'Fear and Resignation in Tigerland' over the 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' movie poster.

i think that it was kangaspurs who estimated, early in the season, that with Wells, Dal Santo (he estimated salaries of circa $600k each), Harvey and Petrie (estimated salaries between $400k and $500k), Firrito (around $200k) and Nahas, Mckenzie, Tippett and Ray (salaries around $100K). We also shed Aaron Black, These figures are obviously guesses, but nonetheless, an overall annual salary cap saving, of $2.6 to $3 million, seems plausible.

The second factor in our favour is that this has already happened. Presumably, the club has been wise enough to front end current contracts with the money saved. Assuming that this has happened, we have a huge advantage over the other teams who may be shedding senior players this year. This money saved, for example, would be sufficient to offer Big Ben a three year contract extension for $800k per annum, with a fair amount left over.

There are two more factors in play. These estimates are 2016 salaries, and the cap has since increased by 20%. We're also likely to shed one or more mid to high cost players this year.

Hence the take away message is that, whatever the club bids for Kelly and Martin, should be affordable, and leave us scope to increase the pay of our younger players as their contracts roll over. I believe that here, at least, we can trust that the club knows what it's doing.

The Club has managed it's cap space perfect imo. Enough space to get 2 top tier free agents and to pay the younger players.

The club know what they're doing in terms of cap. If opposition supporters want to think we are digging a grave; they're being naive. They have a plan and that plan would no doubtfully be at least 5 years. All players on our list currently will be accounted for. Ie Ben Brown, Wood's next contract, Jy's next contract and so on. We are not the Tigers or Pies.

And never believe the figures being thrown about. Fyfe's new contract has been said to be $1m by some and $1.3 or so from others.

I also find it funny now that Tiger fans are using the lines "no difference when tax becomes involved".....since Caro has brought it up. Too dumb to work it out themselves but its not all about cash. Levi Greenwood says hi, and the difference there was even less.

I have 3 different sources, including the wife of an North assistant coach that are very very reliable that Brad Scott is set to sign on until the end of 2030.

Not really, but you see how easy it is to claim this?
Do your other sources include soccer insiders saying Dusty is staying?
