You can choose to draw a line at 80+ games or any number you choose to pull out of thin air. I'll go off what has actually happened in their careers so far.
You're very reactionary.

I have no doubt that Scully, Hartlett and Trengove will be as good if not superior footballers to Martin once they've played 100 games of footy.

I'd rather Hamish Hartlett than Martin.

funny

Gary Lyon just wrote on the hs website that Dustin Martin will be the best drafted player of the last 10 years.

Also said he is better than Selwood because he can play Centre Half Forward.

As a Dees supporter I wouldn't swap either Scully or Trengove for Martin. ANd I doubt any Richmond supporters would swap Martin for either of Scully or Trengove.
Of course we wouldn't. Why would we swap Martin for someone worse then him?

MArtin is fantastic no doubt. However Tigers fans get far to carried away. Yes he played well the other night; 33 touches and 3.2 goals is of course more than note worthy, however you don't see Melbourne fans starting threads about Trengoves 29 touch 2.3 game last week.
Thats because I'm pretty sure it was against GC or Brisbane.

Not really, I just don't form opinions based on guesswork.

It's a fair call. The guy is a gun.

I'd probably take Swallow & Scully before him but his output is currently better than those 2 and I wouldn't blame a Tiger fan for not trading him for anyone. If he was a Blue i'd probably feel the same.

Players from 2009 draft only? Thats what I'm going to base it on so all is fair to a certian extent anyway.

I'd have a hard look at Fyfe and Scully, but otherwise no.

I rate those three on a level just above the rest of the draft.
