Apparently there is disagreement between RFC and the lady about that point
This is what I don't like. If there was an disagreement between her and the RFC regarding the severity of whether she had concerns for her safety, it opens up questions. If RFC downgraded/misinterpreted what she said, then she already felt for her safety yet still didn't go to the cops, so I don't like that now they( others) are trying to coerce her into laying charges.
And if they were the other way, why was she concerned to take it to a new level now?

It's easy to dismiss, but if she did fear physical harm I suspect the afl will talk her around to agreeing to go to the cops
If this goes to the Police then any other punishment should be down to the club who is his employer and the AFL should keep their noses out, he certainly wont be getting much more than a fine from the Police if other cases of assault where actual violence has occurred are anything to go by.

Just a guess, but I suspect it's more about making sure she's absolutely happy to proceed without the cops

They don't need articles at later dates about how the afl rammed this through, and she wasn't given a fair go
I think that is obvious but I was more talking about being 'coerced' into doing it. That infers more imo.

Just give him a break he only threaten the bad lady and threaten to kill her ( if it's all true ) he's just a kid!!!!

You know how silly this sound? A professional athekic who had been hand held by the club in the form of Choco... Who had been given multiple chances to make better decisions.. Who would have been extensively drilled and trained to walk away from situations or not be that drunk in public in the first place ... And that's how he repays the club?

He's not a kid he's an adult who is capable of making very bad life decisions, how much hand holding and waving away personal responsibility because of his skills will the club allow?
Mountain out of an ant hill.

Never said the club should wave resposibility.

sent from the bada bing.

Am I the only person on the planet who thinks this has all been WAY overblown?

Like seriously, if he'd actually assaulted the person physically, I'd completely understand. Or if he'd even made a legitimate verbal threat that could realistically be acted on.

But I highly, highly doubt that it ever went that far. He was being a bit rowdy, got asked to shut up by another patron, got frustrated by that, and yelled back at the person, who just happened to be a woman and sitting down, whilst he was standing up.

Honestly, if it was a bloke that he'd yelled at, nobody would be batting an eyelid, but because it's a woman, everybody is losing their shit over it and calling for massive bans, suspensions, etc etc.

Feminists want equality, but then when stuff like this happens, they wanna be coddled and treated like damsels in distress, and the big bad man has to be excessively punished?!

Give Dusty a fine, get him to do some community service, and let's be done with it ffs.

And KB, stfu you dinosaur.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Probably because her story is looking like it has more holes in it then a piece of swiss cheese.

The main sticking point for me, is the fact that she was so fearful of her life, but never called the authorities, and had no intention of doing so.

Proud to be a tiger and always will support the team; people saying they will not support or watch the team if dusty isnt hammered are fair weather supporters and need to take check of their hysteria. If my boy had been accused of the same thing i would not kick him out of my home (kick him up the arse yes) and i would not expect him to be stood down from his job for a year.
