I bought the DVD, no radio commentary, the quality is OK. But I’m definitely going to invest in the Blu-Ray version too, would love to hear the SEN or 3AW call. Heard highlights of 3AW’s call with Tim Lane and he was incredible.

My birthday is next week, boom. Getting this for sure!!!

Does it have all 3 finals and anything from the season?

They've cut some of the players celebrating to fit even more close ups of Bucks after the siren.
Also included the director's cut of the story on his parents.

And shows the interview with joffa as this was the most important part of the grand final day.

Hey guys....I've bought the DVD today....and it seems like radio commentary is not included (I can only see channel 7....). Can anyone can confirm that there is no radio commentary on their DVD?

Some years they rush the production (makes it easier to have copies available less than 24 hours after the grand final). I know Hawthorn's 2008 dvd didn't include the additional radio commentaries until a re-release months later (coincided with the release of the 2008 victory pack - but the individual 2008 dvd also got re-released with the radio commentaries added).

They first started the mega box set deal in 2015. Hawthorn's was a combination of the 3 victory pack releases (13-14-15), with a few extra matches thrown in from each premiership year. I was happy with it, but I would have been just has happy with being able to have a collection of every game from the season.

There better be a bluray version too, Richmond got one last year.

I got the Richmond blu ray copy in 2017 direct from beyond website the company who make it and its amazing, picture quality as u would expect top notch and all other broadcasts, ie; main broadcast CH7 plus "radio" SEN, MMM AND 3AW all synced but i must admit listening to radio commendatory whilst watching the game gotta say they do tend to miss out the crowd noise in comparison to CH7 which is great.
If not to fussed about the crowd its good watching the granny with the different commentators and their reactions to certain pieces of play and goals.

EDIT; I just had a look and blu ray comes out 29/10/18
Can buy it here>> http://www.beyondhe.com.au/afl-premiers-2018-west-coast-eagles-blu-ray.html

Lane's call "The goal umpire doesn't move, The Eagles are in front. Dom Sheed might be the hero" is spine tingling.

Blu-ray version just arrived in the mail 4 days early from JB Hifi, on the back of the cover I can confirm the radio commentaries: Triple M, 3AW and 6PR.
Thanks for the heads-up! Even though I recorded the telecast on the day the quality was strictly average so the Blu-ray is an absolute essential.
