I love (read: hate) in the last seconds of the quarters he calls it as if the players are rushing to do something, regardless of whether they are or not. It could be on the defensive 50 with 2 seconds to go and he'll say "He's got to hurry before time runs out".

Just another to add to the endless list of terrible things he does.

Just before the bounce, Derwayne issued a "It's Perth like weather, currently around 20 or 21 degrees". Errr Drain, a bit of sun does not make it Perth like weather. The forecast for today is a maximum of 15 and it did actually hit 17 earlier, but not 21. Why you make s**t up!??

Sometimes I wished he was stuck back in Perth because 1. his plane got delayed, 2. planes werent invented yet

Just awful today with his blatant cheering for Melbourne. Also praised the crowd early in the game and then called it a terrible turnout a quarter and a half later.

A team can be 50pts down with 3 minutes to go and he'll be making it sound like they're still a chance to win,so yes it sounds like he's cheering them [as in todays case]


BTW how many dead footballers are their after a game called by DerWayne ?
A lot of them seem to be "Playing for their life"
