It's not for what he does when the cameras are rolling but for his general demeanour when they're not.

If he can grow and become a regular in this team, #7 may start replacing the #5 and #3 on kids backs, soon enough.

His dash and aggressive play really ignited us with Garlett and Murphy in the 4th.

He doesn't seem to buy into the 'let's stop running cause the other team has momentum' mood that the rest of the squad is prone to develop.

Really excited to see him and Menzel come on in the next few years.

Just as an aside, we were committed to Dylan and would have taken him at #44 in the 2011 draft had have another team put their hand up.
They didn't and we got him at #62 with Rowe being taken at the #44.

Right now even if Dylan was grabbed at the #44, it looks like a very good investment.
2011 was a very skinny draft and if Bootsma does grow up, we'll start looking like we did very well considering all the ridicule that has come our way.

Next pick after Bootsma was Newman...............I know which player I'd rather have.
