Every chance the #16 will be kept vacant for a couple of years - Jim's boy Dylan is reputedly pretty good (U16's at the moment I believe) and plenty at the Club are excited about him - some are saying a very likely F/S pick

Not sure that Grigg would be happy with being labelled 'vacant'.
I confess I have been out self praising myself on other threads instead of keeping up with all the news. Do you really think I actually read this stuff? How do you think I have been able to tolerate HBF all this time .... ? By not reading his posts, that's how! What rock have you been under ODN? Grigg is taking Skinny's 12

I hate it when players change numbers ... especially after I just commit them to memory.

I hope he's taller than the Dominator's sons because he won't even get rookie listed unless he can do something very well. Aaron Joseph was picked in the rookie draft even though he was AA, but his saving grace is his legspeed, hardness at the ball and agility.
I doubt he's any taller than Jimmy Buckley.
Jimmy Buckley what an absolute champion. 3 time premiership player and best and fairest winner in 1982. Played in the 1982 grandfinal after spending the week previous in hospital with some type of hepatitis...say what you like about other carlton greats but buckley was the toughest and most courageous player we had in that golden era....He rarely missed a target running out of the centre and smothered a ball with head in the 1979 grandfinal.. A true Carlton legend.Does he ever! Brush up on your Navy Blues history young man.
Jimmy Buckley is one of the greats to have donned a Carlton guernsey. Inspirational and skilled half-forward and mid. Tough as nails and big game performer.
I believe he has worked for Visy courtesy of our old mate Mr Pratt since retiring in 1990.
