In the exchange/draft period in 2011, are we able to trade our first round draft pick away for a player and then use our second round pick on Buckley even if another team bids there 1st round pick?

The bidding takes place before trade week begins. Next available pick applies.

Have heard that Dylan has bulked up a bit from last year which is great news. Missed his game for the Knights today, but will be at Visy Park next weekend to watch him play.

Yep, he's huge. He can now hold his ground in a strong breeze.:p

I don't think Dylan will ever be a tank but he's still just a pup. He's got a few years yet.

Northern Kniights were back in action on the weekend and were playing Sandringham Dragons. The Knights won 14.14.98 v 9.5.59, Buckley played alright had 16 touches i like that he kicks alot more than handballs. 11 kicks and 5 handballs, and had 2 marks for the game.

Buckley played afairbit on the half back flank the ball didnt seem to get down to where he was playing to often.

Not bad at all for a bottom aged player. Also pretty happy he's playing as an attacking HBF, one position where we could really do with a quality player there.

In Mini-Pav we trust.

Whenever I see Lucas I wonder how we drafted Pav for a mili-second. The resemblance is uncanny

BTW he is more of an attacking wingman, not too sure if he has ever played a man closely, and when you are on the HBF you at least have to contribute by watching your man

Listed as 179cm, 68kgs on knights final list.

Wearing the number #1 this season
He Could be wearing that number if the player wearing that number doesn't pull his finger out this year. I think the club have been very patient with him and he needs to deliver this season if he isn't injured.

Great to have the son of a gun, who himself is a gun.

and in another few years, we get the sons of a gun, who himself was a gun and the son of a gun and they will probably all be guns themselves :D

The Knights played Calder Cannons who were premiers last year, the knights won by 13 points. Buckley played ook,

Had 14 disposals (9 kicks and 5 handballs) and had 4 tackles and a goal.

Do you know what position he played this week Shell?

He played all over the ground SC.
One thing that really impressed me was his pace through the midfield, and the fact that he backed himself to break the lines with his speed. Also used it to chase down opponents when he didn't have the ball. Given that he is still bottom aged, and the way he play yesterday, we have gotten ourselves a ripper at the end of next year.

Picture of our Dylan running down Cameron Guthrie of Calder who is no shrinking violet in the pace stakes.
