If Channel 7 thought it was in poor taste or pushing the boundary too far, his editor and the Chief Editor should have stepped in.

Obviously they are so far into their own hype of being the number 1 TV station, they have no moralistic values at all.

I agree - an apology now would reek of a public relations stunt.

They have come this far...it is going to be hard to back down.

However, petty strikes and boycotts from players does little to help the situation.

I know I was replying to you. You clearly had no idea, because you didn't put two and two together about Howard and the most recent story. You started being aggressive after I simply alerted to you about the subject of this thread. You are wrong because you said "You must be a bloody genius mate..", when in fact I was in the right, and you didn't know what the thread was about. Now before you repost, take a deep breath, and think about the situation. I'm just trying to help, I'm not trying to assert anything over you.

Yeah whatever, geez I spend a few days away from footy and all of a sudden I "clearly have no idea", I guess having a life has its disadvantages..

I dont think its petty at all, would u like your medical records broadcast to the country? There is a clear ppolicy and morals/ethics which have been ignored.

An example of this is his report on Channel 7, naming Michael Braun as the man suspected of being a drug cheat, due to an article in the Herald-Sun from Western Bulldogs footballer, Jason Akermanis where he alluded to an opposition player possibly being on drugs, during a game in 2004.

I agree completely, but the fact remains that we have no right to be privvy to such information...
