this kid won the medal for best in Div 2, i understand that it's not as tough a competition as Div 1 but the kid must've done something right.
I saw him in the TAC Cup Grand Final last year and was impressed by his ball winning ability, the AFL draft rater Burgan has him as a pick 40 onwards selection but i personally would be happy for my team to take him with pick 30. Am i crazy or thereabouts?

apart from the obvious disadvantage (height at 178cms) are there any other reasons that he is not considered as a 1st rounder? obviously i'm seeking the opinion of someone out there that knows more about him.

can he turn out to be a decent to good afl player as an inside midfielder?

Terrific kid whose done just about everything in the last two seasons - NSW Captain, Harrison Medallist in Div 2, TAC Team of the Year, All Australian, been to two Draft Camps...

Wins contested ball in the middle, goes forward and is strong in the air for his size and kicks goals. As courageous as they come and leads by example.

The downside is he just has one of those little bodies, 175cm and 75kg - but doesn't show it on the footy field cos he plays a tough, uncompromising brand of footy. He isn't overly quick either, which is his other downside.

You hope a guy like him gets an opportunity, in a perfect world he would cos he's earnt it and hasn't put a foot wrong.

Haha, well he played a couple of games for the Swans reserves this year so they'd have a good knowledge of him.

Had a game with Geelong as well. Just a question and this is from someone who has seen a bit of him, why is Christensen so highly rated yet McNeil isn't? Has size and speed been mentioned with Christensen.

He reminds me a little bit of Ben Cousins would be a nice rookie selection but i think he will go in the main draft

His training with Sydney and looks like he will be NSW priority selection in the rookie draft.
