Stevens has more trade value as he is a ready to go mid, the others got traded for picks that we wouldn't be using. I would trade him for any pick just so he knows where his future lies.

As much as it irks me, you're right. We've done very well out of the PSD in recent years, even before those guys, not to mention Pearce in FA. Can't complain too hard about loosing Roberton through the PSD (though there's no guarantee that will happen yet).
