Would have been nice to keep. Would have helped a lot with MJ out, and in the future without him.

37 games in three seasons is hardly 'he couldn't get a game'.He couldn't get a game when were shit with a shit coach, and now with Ross, I doubt he would even still be on our list let alone get a game.

He was douted by quite a few Sainst fans as well after 2014. But rebounded well from that injury ravaged year...A great example on judging young players too quickly. I don't think the club did, but a few fans certainly did.
Silent Alarm was his biggest fanboiGood on him but we really aren't missing him.
I guess at least this isn't a 'Viv Michie is being hard done by' thread like the good old days.
Don't worry, this bloke would walk off a cliff if Ross Lyon did. Kinda bloke who says Josh Head and Clayton Hinkley are good because they were getting games. In honesty, Robbo never did anything bad towards Fremantle. He was young and got his girlfriend pregnant and wanted to be around his and his girlfriend's parent's. Barely a heinous crime, and there are mercenaries in footy who leave clubs for reasons much softer than that.37 games in three seasons is hardly 'he couldn't get a game'.
Who gives a **** what Ross Lyon would've hypothetically thought, the bloke likes thugs and shit players like Matt DeBoer.
Pfffft, it's SA, who cares? All we can do is hope we draft Josh Bootsma: the howling that results might hit the natural frequency of his empty vessel if we're lucky.Come on man, this is ridiculous.
Who are our thugs? Sivagni?
Roberton is a highly skilled user of the ball. developed into a fine player. not the best one on one player but that kicking efficiency and decision making would be mighty handy right about now
He's been terrific for us (except for last year, when his season was pretty much a write-off after the very serious ankle injury and major surgery) and his ball use has really surprised me. Is extremely dual-sided, which comes in handy, as it means he's able to go either way (left foot if he wants to kick it to the right in a hurry, or right foot, if he needs to kick it straight ahead, or left in a hurry) and it makes him a bit more unpredictable than most to the opposing team. Had the 3rd highest kick rating for "general defenders" in the comp this year, according to Champion Data (who take into account factors like kick distance, direction, target type and pressure: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-08-28/the-inquirer-just-for-kicks).Roberton is a highly skilled user of the ball. developed into a fine player. not the best one on one player but that kicking efficiency and decision making would be mighty handy right about now
