If Howe wanted to go (and Shield wanted to go), I think him alone could get it done with a late demon draft pick (if required). But I'd much prefer to keep him.

These players generally get to where they want, read o rourke and Taylor Adams . RFC are very keen on choco s future son in law and we expect to get him ,
Like when Dom Tyson was the son of a Richmond coterie member and was desperate to get there, or when Tom Boyd was a Carlton fanatic who would refuse to go anywhere else?

For all we know Mark Williams might be coaching Carlton next year. Who would want there father in law as a boss anyway.

Last time you made a prediction about something like this you were well wide of the mark....

Fairly widely known that when not if Tyson leaves gws it will be punt rd bound. His old man is part of the coterie and RFC have already laid plans to get him in Y&B . Read same for o rourke , family has strong heritage with RFC dating back to jack dyer era. So I'd be looking elsewhere

Think it was 2 (Josh Kelly) + 20 (Jack Leslie) + 72 (Pass) for Tyson + 9 (Salem) + 53 (Not sure)

Sydney passed with 53, so essentially:

Syd: Kelly + Leslie
Melb: Tyson + Salem

Right now I am extremely pleased with this trade. Way too early to call 'winners', and it will probably end up as a win win.

Looking at it, in the 2013 draft Carlton effectively ended up trading Hampson (#32) for Docherty. Swindled.

I think #53 became #57, so Jayden Hunt? Hard to follow when all the numbers change.

Those idiots , atleast they can console themselves with the 2 draft picks they passed on for Garlett

This is a billion dollar competition, it shouldn't be a charity organisation that constantly changes the rules to ensure certain clubs remain in the finals over the expense of others. As for your comment about the academy and Heeney, I've been against it from the beginning so that comment is really irrelevant. Having said that I think that the two new teams should have them for development, but not Sydney and Brisbane. It's such an obvious scam.
And the fact that Sydney and Brisbane both have access to father/son selections.

We won't for 30-40 years.

17-18 years if your club gets it's arse into gear and starts whoring out the likes of Shiel, Treloar, Patton, etc.

Those three would have some very fine looking ladies on their arms.

Maybe not Cam Macarthy. That mo he is rocking...What is he thinking?

It shouldn't be about the looks, just find the best athletes and GO TO POUND TOWN!

Bam freakish footy players born.

What about him?

Probably should have elaborated. Like Shiel, perhaps he is one that we could target at the end of the year. I feel he may be pushed out at Fremantle soon enough.

Ah, fair enough. Wasn't sure what the context was given the thread title. He's in my UF side doing naff all at the moment so I was curious if there was any news.

F/S is a lottery though. It's different to producing gun footballers year after year.
