Re: Alpha Dynasty - DISCUSSION - Part 2

I think Brohm and Brennan will be the ones who make it because there's some stat that a stat-site discovered showing that QBs in college who had completion % above 62.3 or something had the greatest success becoming NFL stars. It was like a huge % difference of QBs who made it big in the NFL compared to the huge drop off of QBs who made it big having less than 62.3. It was like double more.

Brohm and Brennan both had over 62.3. Brennan 77 i think.

That said.....isn't Brohm having struggles in Green Bay?? I was reading that somewhere that he looked bad at OTA's.
Flacco completed 63.43% in college

We both know it isnt that simple gg, doesnt come down to one little stat like that

As for my opinion on Brennan, no way he will make, i notice he was your only 'untouchable', that is a laugh! Perhaps he is that because no one else will touch him

Guys like Paul Hubbard and Xavier Omon untouchable Zarko! Cmon be serious, i offer you Reggie Wayne for Hubbard, you arent saying no!

Generally most people will have 7-10 untouchables, guys that they really like and are unlikely to trade out, but given the right offer would be available.

Hubbard WILL get a chance THIS YEAR at third at least...

Joey Joe... Old fart
Donte... Only a matter of time before another hammy goes...

Damn, really wanted Hubbard, Wayne and Colston were on offer as a duo, ohwell, that offer is now officially off the table
No probs :D

Untouchable FOR WHAT PEOPLE WILL GIVE ME... I mean if someone offered something like THAT of course, but I won't trade him for his perceived value.

All I would want is Colston though mate... Wouldn't want to cripple you too much ;)

I cant remember what the stat itself was, but if Flacco got over it then it would be a good sign for him. it's not that simple of course, it's just indicative. Like, it's something like this...

over 62.3 comp% showed that 50% of QBs made it in the NFL
under 62.3 comp% showed that 15% of QBs made it in the NFL

It's not that ^ but just an example of a tendency.

As far as Colt goes, what will help him 'make it' is Jim Zorn as HC. Once I knew he ended up in Washington and that Zorn wanted Colt badly, i knew his chances of success in the NFL shot up big time.

We'll see anyway in 2009.

Didn't think you would be interested in Rivers D ;) Lets just hope he beats out Dhoni for starting MLD in camps :D
i'd take him, dont think he'll be this years Vilma/Ryans/Willis, but he should be solid enough, probably taken about the right spot in the draft, neither a reach nor a steal IMO

Gambled on Shaun ALexander and Eric Green. Green is a good young starting CB for the Cardinals, actually surprised he didnt get drafted.

Whilst I reckon Rivers is the best actual LB in this years draft, in terms of ff it will go IMO

I'm very happy to have Amani Toomer as well, get myself a short term back up and possible starter with him.

Through rejigging my roster and alike, already up to 22 acquisitions somehow, lucky there isnt a limit. Whilst i lead now, gg will undoubtedly lead the count by a country mile come seasons end.

I would be happy with 4 most bench spots and could easily fill them with a further 12 players I am interested in long term... alas :p

Did you get rid of some players yo drafted D/ I find that a bit odd but can understand it I guess (plus the Suggs situation)

Re: Alpha Dynasty - DISCUSSION - Part 2

I assume by the LM Poll, most (well 50%) think the West is the weakest division??
No, just one people may think one team is drastically better than the others... Doesn't mean the others suck. Personally I can't see Cassius not having one of the best given gg and my own strategies, though Wiz's team is very interesting... If it was the weakest it doesn't mean the winner will have the best record if the winning team is weak as well

Re: Alpha Dynasty - DISCUSSION - Part 2

lol I see what you did there ;)

Will be interesting if all three come good...
there is one other guy who is ir-eligible i would have been interested in over sypniewski, but couldnt get him in due to limits, the IR spot itself does not take into account limits, but to originally get them in you have to put them into a bench spot, then IR, so thats why i kept dropping Hill and picking up Henry, because the enhanced buttons to 'move' players wasnt working, so i kept trying

robinson is one who should come good, henry has all the potential in the world but is a long shot and sypniewski did alright last year but is already ruled out for the whole of this season
