Re: Alpha Dynasty - DISCUSSION - Part 2
So does that mean like you can get multiple waivers in a row after a game for example? Say I passed on all 6 and the first three rounds were used by everyone else... WOuldn't that mean they all go behind my picks and therefore I get three waivers in a row?
That's right. But focus on it being one pick at a time.
Let me give an example.
Right now, all 12 people are claiming waivers, right.
Let's say you have decided to put 6 waivers in, but everyone else has only put 1 in.
What happens is pick by pick.
It goes down, assigns everyone's first pick.
Then it goes down looking to assign everyone's second pick, but it notices only you have a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th, etc pick.
So it would mean that after the first round, everyone went to the end after making a claim, which would put the waiver order back to exactly how it started.
But then the second round occurs, where only you made a pick. So you go to the end of the line, and everyone else stays put.
Then it goes thru the third round, everyone stays put again and it comes to you, assigns your player, and keeps you last of the line.
Same with 4th 5th and 6th rounds of picks being made.
So then you can see how it would work if 4 people had 6 picks, 4 people had 3 picks, and 4 people had 1 pick.
The whole waiver order would remain the same after the first round, because everyone made a pick and went to the end of the line. Resulting in the waiver order ending up how it started.
But then in the 2nd and 3rd waves of picks, and then the 4th-6th waves of picks, the waiver order list would end up completely different to how it started.
