e-AFL Round 2 - Fremantle v Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium
Welcome to this Round 2 clash of BigFooty's very own, inaugural 2020 e-AFL Premiership Season. With the real season in limbo, our team will be recreating the terminated AFL season in a series of simulated games over the coming weeks, in a jam-packed, action-filled series of 153 games plus a finals series.
These are simulated games, using the names of AFL players, but all teams have an equal chance. There is as much hope for Suns supporters as there is for the West Coast fans of a premiership at the end. There is no home ground advantage, and the weather conditions are random but do affect the type of game.
The sim program also gives votes towards a Brownlow Medal for each game, which will be compiled and a winner announced during finals.
With so little else on, sit back and cheer your e-AFL team to victory.

MATCH PREVIEW
Both sides will be looking to bounce back this week after disappointing losses in Round 1 as Port travel to Optus Stadium to take on the Dockers. The Power lost in agonising fashion, as they went down by 4 points against the Western Bulldogs at home after nudging in front in the last quarter only to lose the lead. While Fremantle received a hiding from the Crows in their first eAFL hit out, demolished by a rampant Adelaide outfit to the tune of 55 points.
Skipper Nat Fyfe was one of Freo's best against the Crows but would be looking to bounce back after being well held, with a raft of experience including backline leaders Joel Hamling and Alex Pearce set to return to the backline after compromised pre seasons.
While for Port, Scott Lycett was best on ground despite surrendering the hitouts to young Doggies ruck Tim English, as he punished the youngster around the ground, piling on 3 goals to almost singlehandedly drag Port over the line. The Power are expected to welcome back big man Charlie Dixon and midfield bull Ollie Wines after interrupted pre seasons saw them just miss out in Round 1.
Coaches TheInjuryFactory and GremioPower/Cadaver will be looking to make a number of changes as they seek a change of fortune in Round 2.
