Welcome to this Round 2 clash of BigFooty's very own, inaugural 2020 e-AFL Premiership Season. With the real season in limbo, our team will be recreating the terminated AFL season in a series of simulated games over the coming weeks, in a jam-packed, action-filled series of 153 games plus a finals series.
These are simulated games, using the names of AFL players, but all teams have an equal chance. There is as much hope for Suns supporters as there is for the West Coast fans of a premiership at the end. There is no home ground advantage, and the weather conditions are random but do affect the type of game.
The sim program also gives votes towards a Brownlow Medal for each game, which will be compiled and a winner announced during finals.
With so little else on, sit back and cheer your e-AFL team to victory.

Hawthorn
GWS
Match preview
Hawthorn will look to roll on after a steady start without a routine win over the reigning premiers Richmond. GWS were never really in the game and fell 20 points shy of Essendon in their inaugural e-AFL game. This takes us to the home of footy, the marvellous MCG. The stage is set for a massive e-AFL clash.
Who's hot?
Hawthorn
Chad Wingard
Hawthorn's recruit had a shaky start to life at Hawthorn but like nearly all Hawthorn trade he's come good. Last round he had a whopping 24 touches and 5 tackles controlling the game from the midfield giving his forward's every chance and even popping up on the scoresheet with a minor score.
Shaun Burgoyne
Another recruit from Port Adelaide, Burgoyne seems to only be getting better with age scooping up 16 touches with 6 marks and playing a great game off half forward ending the match with 3 goals.
GWS
Lachie Whitfield
Mr versatile was once again brilliant ending the game with 21 touches. His workmate was absolutely relentless ending up with 3 frees for as a reward for his tackling pressure. He finished with a goal as well as he was one of the few Giants who stood up.
Stephen Coinglio
The leading possession getter on the ground, Cogs had an absolute ripper making with 24 touches and a gargantuan 8 marks. Fantasy fans will be happy as he ended up with 101 points and would have been a decent captain option. Despite the loss, Cogs could still hold his head high.
Who's not?
Hawthorn
Ben McEvoy
No hitouts for the big man who didn't have a good start to life as a defender. He barely touched the ball finishing with a measly 4 disposals, all of which were kicks. The other disappointing thing is his singular mark. Coach Smiles was expecting a lot more from such a tall defender.
Jonathan Patton
Patton finished with 2 touches for 2 goals so efficiency isn't an issue here but for such a big name recruit he could be doing so so much more. Patton was well and truly beaten in the air but finished with a handy 2 goals. Still he has the potential to be much much better.
GWS
Zac Langdon
Oh dear. Donuts for Langdon who did not enjoy his e-AFL debut at all he's still young but really needs to turn his form around or at the very least touch the ball this week.
Brent Daniels
Another player with 1 kick for one score, unfortunately for Daniels and GWS this score was only a minor one. Another player who's very young and who shouldn't dwell too long on a performance like this. He can be much better and if he gets up and firing, expect a big game from the whole Giants team.
Prediction: Hawks to show their experience over a young GWS side to win by 37
