Match Preview
In round 1, The Western Bulldogs traveled away to Adelaide oval to vs Port Adelaide. It was a tightly fort game that saw the Dogs taking more of their chances to win a nail biter by 4 points. Bailey Smith, Marcus Bontempelli, Lochie Hunter and Josh Dunkey were all in the bests within the Dogs strong midfield. This will also mark the first time former team mate Josh Bruce will play against the Saints.

Meanwhile, St Kilda fought hard for the entire day. But after the first half, Collingwood were able to keep their distance at the remaining breaks to win by 17. The best for the Saints included Rowan Marshall, who enjoyed a strong presence in the ruck and beat Brody Grundy. While new recruits Bradly Hill and Zac Jones were strong contributors.
