Match Preview - Can the Demons turn up the heat?

Both teams come into their round 6 contest at 2-3 for the season so going into this match you don't want to fall behind the pack being 2-4 which will make the season a little tougher for the loser in a shortened season. The Crows will want to bounce back at home after their defeat to the Swans yesterday while the Demons were narrowly defeated by the Hawks in their round 5 match.

Such an interesting battle this week between these two clubs. The Demons after making a preliminary final 2 seasons ago haven't looked like a top 4 club and have struggled with form since. They will be relying on the form of Christian Petracca to get them over the line while the Crows will be looking at Paul Seedsman run and carry through the midfield to get them back on the winners list in front of their home crowd.

Some key match ups we're looking forward too here is Jake Lever vs Taylor Walker - some strong words were used by the ex-crows captain when Lever signalled his intention to leave the club after the 2017 grand final. Despite being touted as a potential captain of the Crows, Lever chose to leave the club and join the Dees on a lucrative deal. Can the Texan get revenge on Lever for leaving the club or can the key defender nullify the Texan's influence on the contest?

PREDICTION: With the Crows returning home and with both sides in okay form at the moment, we'll tip the Crows by 16 points due to the home ground advantage.
