ROUND 6 - GWS v CARLTON

Welcome to Round 6 of the BigFooty 2020 e-AFL season! With the real season delayed, we will be recreating the AFL season in simulation. 153 games plus a finals series over the next few months.

The simulated games will use the names of AFL players, but all teams have an equal chance. The sim program also distributes Brownlow votes, so we will also have our own e-AFL Brownlow, Coleman and Norm Smith awards.

Both teams lost their first 3 games, however since then the team's progress has been very different.

The Giants drew in Round 4 against Port Adelaide in a thrilling match, however then suffered a heavy defeat with a youthful team against the Saints in Round 5 by 63 points. With much of the regulars expected to return and returning back to the Giants stadium, fans will be hoping for a positive result.

Carlton have rebounded with 2 wins against Freemantle and Richmond to surge back into finals contention. They will be looking to make it 3 in a row.

Stephen Coniglio - Rested for the last time, it is time for the Captain to earn his $$$
Jeremy Cameron - After 6 goals in Round 4, the Saints defence held the AFL Coleman medal holder to 1 goal. It looks unlikely to be his year in the e-AFL, however he will be looking to perform a show for his fans at the home stadium.

CARLTON
Paddy Dow - would have pleased his fantasy owners in the last 2 weeks with 84 and 83 points respectively, coming from 18 and 19 disposals respectively in his position as ruck rover
Charlie Curnow - Charlie has been in excellent form over the last 2 games, scoring 9 goals. He will be up against the Giants defence and will be hoping to score a few more.
