Personally, i find gumtree great for buying/selling event tickets. It is more personal and reduces scalpers. Had to sell my Splendour in the Grass ticket last year and it went within 24 hours on gumtree. Would have had a lot more trouble on ebay. Only issue i find with Gumtree is when people don't remove posts. Was chasing Bruce Springsteen tickets and the person i texted said they were gone 3 days ago.![]()
I can help you with a Springsteen ticket........WOW the box is incredible. Don't tempt me.
The ebay app is the most dangerous thing to mankind. The amount of stuff i have purcahased while on the dunny is unbelievable.
In the last year i have built up a strong collection of cricket shirts, and once a week a gem turns up on ebay. I once bid up to $100 for a Zimbabwe 1994 one day top that was probably worn by some sweaty fat bloke. Lost the bid and i was distraught.
Also recently started selling stuff on ebay app. Easy as shelling peas. But i've worked out that shipping DVDs is bloody expensive ($6.60) so i'm not making much cash there.

We went through all that last year. We even once had an agent show us through a house and everything, we fell in love with it, and were planning to make an offer when at the very end of the inspection he goes "Oh, i mentioned it's under contract right?"Sounds like my experience using Realestate.com.au when I was house hunting. You'd be surprised how many ads are up for houses which are supposedly on the market, but send through a query to the agent and all of a sudden it's 'under contract', yet the ad would never update unless you reported the ad.

Thanks will try next time.C5 envelope and 2 stamps. $1.20 postage!
Nah was an idea at the time but it has kind of worn off. Only know 1 song and don't wanna be 'that guy'. Only possible interest would be seeing Tom Morello as well.Sigh. Are you sure? Pit ticket to first show at face value?
All good brah. Your loss thoughNah was an idea at the time but it has kind of worn off. Only know 1 song and don't wanna be 'that guy'. Only possible interest would be seeing Tom Morello as well.

wow-
my non-existant scam skills would not have thought to sell an empty box for $21 under the pretense of 'Mystery Box'
atleast a 'mystery box' is technically telling the truth, even if it is $20 for nothing....
better than this stupid woman

Well no dickhead, you didn't. He then went on to say how he was confident the deal was falling through. It didn't. Never booked another inspection with that agent or company.
Careful with Gumtree. Guy tried to scam me by saying he was in Headland and asked me to direct $500 for tickets. Soon as I started mentioning a bank cheque so I had time to receive the tickets the tickets were 'already taken'. It was then I noticed 5 similar adverts and used a fake profile to send a fake eft receipt. Took it to Police and they informed me they'd already had 9 people come in who'd handed over moneyPersonally, i find gumtree great for buying/selling event tickets.
