And if you are not sure what E3 is then what are you doing in a games thread lol
A E3 FAQ thanks to IGN: http://au.games.ign.com/articles/108/1086463p1.html

Would love to see the reveal of inFAMOUS 2 and Killzone 3. Starhawk (Warhawk sequel, only in space) maybe as well to get a showing/reveal. The unveiling of Free Realms on the PS3, the everyperson MMO.

Some news on Agent (the Rockstar PS3 exclusive) would be awesome as well, have a feeling they'll show something and a release date.

The Last Guardian getting a release date would be good.

Hopefully Resistance 3 to show it's going back to it's roots and bringing a multiplayer like Fall of Man.

Some good 'hardcore' Move titles as well (the reveal of that Alan Wake-ish game shown during the Move trailer).

Outside of PS3 news. Really looking forward to seeing the new MOH in action. Hopefully some gameplay for Max Payne 3. Will be interesting to see what games Natal has. Also hope we can get some footage of Batman: Arkham Asylum 2.

Depending on what we get of the new Assassin's Creed game within the next week I think it is, it'll be good to see some gameplay hopefully of the multiplayer in action.

Others to see some good gameplay of:
Spec Ops: The Line (X-Play's preview a while back showed promise, 6 months on should get something better)
COD: Black Ops (Just show us some cinematic stuff)
Naughty Bear (PLEASE BE GOOD!)
Dead Space 2 (PLEASE BE SCARY!)
Saw 2 (PLEASE BE GOOD! AND SCARY!)
FIFA 11 (Usual update will be good enough)
Star Wars: TFS 2 (GIVE US THE LIGHTSABER GAME WE WANT! Move inclusion as well!)
F.E.A.R. 3 (even though it's destined to fail;))
Scribblenauts 2 (Didn't get 1, but 2 should have improved on the original concept of 1)

I'm only going to be keen on the next Zelda game. The others are good and all but not a single game has been as spectacular as the Zelda series.

I hope project natal will be as good when it was shown on a current affair. And i hope that it isn't too pricy:)

What a horrible thread :D.

Anyway. Sonys Press Conference.

Killzone 3
Resistance 3
MotorStorm 3 (Water levels :)?)
The Last Guardian
Agent
inFAMOUS 2 (with multiplayer)
StarHawk
LittleBIGPlanet 2
Gran Turismo 5 (with release date)
Move Titles
PSP Titles (God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Killzone Liberation sequel, Motorstorm game, MGS: Peace Walker, LBP 2?)

Wow.

Microsoft will probably "win" though.

150USD from all recent reports. Which is way, way too much. The thing is sure to bomb unless that price is lowered or they put it in all Xbox bundles without raising the price of the console.

I think that Michael Pachter had it right when there were those rumours about the XBOX Slim.

Microsoft should bring out the Slim and then package 'Natal' for the same price as the 360 is going for now. As you'll be negating the price of Natal with the cut down rate of the Slim 360. And if it's bundled with every 360 then each and every person who buys a 360 will have 'Natal'. Much like how Wii Sports is bundled with every Wii it just helps to get it out there.

If it is $150US which is at least $200AU that is just ridiculous and won't ever work. Would be interesting to see the Arcade bundles with Natal at the $150US Natal price (which is being rumoured at $300US, which is what $350-AU$400AU?).

As everything is remaining rumour, rumours have been that Natal isn't actually that expensive to make. So why would they possibly want to sell it for such a ridiculous price?

Would love to see what Midori thinks actually, as this is his sort of area.

E3 is right around the corner, and the big publishers are rolling out lists of what they’ll be bringing to the show. Ubisoft’s list includes Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Shaun White Skateboarding, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the next instalment of the Driver series, and “many other titles” that haven’t been revealed yet. Keep an eye on Kotaku on Monday, June 14, when Ubisoft’s annual press conference kicks off.

Hopefully also confirmation of the rumoured Team Ico Collection (Ico and Shadow of the Colossus).
Would definitely pick up that if they redo them in HD like God of War.

I think it's a bit weird how all these games are being revealed before E3. Surely their announcements would have much bigger impacts if they were announced on the big stage where everyone would be watching? Examples would be LBP2 and Killzone 3, and yes I know there's a big fanbase that really cares about it and yes I know that people are hyped over these anyway, but I still think they would make a bigger splash during the keynote. That's probably just me though.

It seems as if they're trying to make way for the new hardware so they can market the hell out of it. This goes for both platforms, even though MS is having a pre-E3 Natal thing anyway.

Seems like a shoe in to come eventually. The dev said that they'd like to do something similar to the GoW Collection and there would be no better way of re-living and for myself and others actually finding out why Ico and SotC are considered so amazing.

The excuse is that they have so many exclusives they need to release so if they announce them before hand (like with SOCOM 4 at the start of the year), they can evenly spread out the releases.

Or something.

My take on it, is that Sony want to get the bigger titles out of the way so as not to overshadow the miriad of titles that will be shown and/or announced at E3.

Killzone 3 and LBP2 are 2 of the bigger titles that Sony have and getting much of the info out of the way now allows for other titles to shine and not be pushed out of the way for Killzone 3 and LBP2 to share the spotlight in the wake of E3. This way there's already enough given for Killzone 3 and LBP2 now that whatever is shown at E3 will be great but whatever else gets shown can be given the limelight.

And really, the announcements of these titles at E3 is no less bigger than the announcements as they have been.

According to a tweet from Nuts associate editor Rory Buckridge, Rockstar has pulled out of “launching” a title at E3 in two weeks time.

This could mean that we’re about to either miss a full-blown reveal of PS3 exclusive Agent, or a brand new Grand Theft Auto: something which has been predicted for months by analysts.
It comes as reports over the weekend showed an E3 list which contained a new GTA, known as “Grand Theft Auto V: Vice City”
E3 List http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/06/01/gta-v-vice-city-leaked/

Rockstar denied that and said they won't be releasing any new games at E3.
Denied what? The quote was saying that Rockstar won't be announcing any new title. "Rockstar has pulled out of “launching” a title at E3 in two weeks time."

Still expect to see some of Agent though from Sony. All this does for Rockstar is takes out THEM doing something. Sony can do it on part of Rockstar.
