ITS HAPPENING AGAIN! Awkward smiles for all!

Mario Party 10 is the most exciting game of the show for me. I've sunk literally hundreds of hours into Mario Partys 1-6.

Unfortunately, the more recent ones are kinda bad, but still as excited as someone who isn't planning on buying a WiiU can be.

Not bothered by the Xenoblade X trailer - was full of cutscenes, and the characters look just as poor as they did in the very first trailer.

Second trailer was the big gameplay one, that's where it matters.

Lack of 3D platformers makes me sad. Nintendo need to realise they are overlooking their most powerful weapon. Shot themselves when they lost Rare. A new Zelda/Mario Kart every 5 years isn't going to put them back on top regardless of how good they are.

Microsoft bought out Rare. Nintendo didn't really have anything to do with it.

Nintendo had already extended the option by one year, but it looked like they weren't going to acquire the other half of Rare, so the Rare guys started looking around to see if anyone else might be interested. We were a logical choice for them to call."

"I probably heard about a buyout officially when Tim and Chris sat down with all the leads to talk with them about it," says Tossell. "They were very open in regards to the options and what it might mean. Initially I think there were three possibilities: Nintendo, Activision and Microsoft. We actually had a show of hands in the meeting to indicate which of the options we preferred, but obviously in the end it was really down to major shareholders..."

Microsoft offered more, because they were willing to overpay.

Silly mistake for mine. Should have jumped at the chance when they had it. The access to genuine Banjo Kazooie, Conker or even Diddy Kong Racing sequels would be huge in the scheme of things.

Interesting side note, Microsoft thought they had access to Donkey Kong when they bought Rare, but it was only developed by them the intellectual properties belong to Nintendo who took the idea to them.

Mario party's ****ing great, hate this new idea how everyone moves together though, defeats the whole purpose of Mario party. Very disappointed they brought that into 10

Mario Party hasn't been good since MP5 and even then that game wasn't anywhere near as good as the N64 ones.

Yeah definitely agree with that jut thought they had a chance to bring it back on Wii U with some interesting 1 vs 3 mini games with the game pad and also the Pro controllers would be great.

Keeping on with that everyone in the same cart bullshit sucks IMO.
