Some might have already picked up on this, but Sam is unlike any other hero you may have seen in games before. A typical hero is usually some sort of elite or someone with a military background. Sam is not. He is a working man of sorts — a hands-on professional. Someone with a skillset akin to a blue-collar worker. This is something you’ll intuitively understand once you play the game and control Sam. Herein lies our challenge, to create both a new form of gameplay and a hero that has never been done before.

What a showcase so far, I'm interested in Doom Eternal, Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima, Odyssey, FH4, TES6. Interested to see what Nintendo has to offer

I can honestly say that none of those games excite me. Especially Spider-Man.

Quite keen for Cyberpunk, Metro, Halo FH4 and whatever Nintendo does. Come on Nintendo make me buy a switch!

Haha. And quality is matter of opinion. Personally as a fan of Halo, Gears of war and Crackdown I think Microsoft have both quality and quantity locked down from this conference. Shoot me.

Heard from someone who works at Nintendo that said hold off on buying a switch until after e3 because apparently they are announcing something.

I'd agree that MS had the best conference and was better to 'watch', but thats more due to flow and production value (and Sony inexplicably having 2 venues with an momentum-sapping 'intermission' after showing 1 game, what were they thinking lol).

Hmm dunno if quality is a matter of opinion. I know Skyrim is a quality game, I never enjoyed it though.

Its more personal preference I guess - just as you're a fan of those games I'm a fan of Kojima (Death Stranding), Suckerpunch (Tsushima), Naughty Dog and what looks to be an Arkham style superhero game. Couldn't care less about about Halo and Terry Crews Screaming err sorry I mean Crackdown :D

Expect next gen consoles announced next year. Pretty clear with developers going big next year with the games that’s the last of the big ones for this gen. Plus Sony saying the PS4 is near the end of it life span.

I'm going to say the announcements will come early 2020 and released for the holidays the same year.
 
Next gen won't start till 2020 which is fine as long as Cyberpunk 2020 runs well on Pro hardware.

But it probably won't
