Hey guys can you help me ?
I was wondering if EA Sports still make Cricket games not seen any around for ages.
Thinking of buying the newest game from them.

EA Sports don't make Cricket games anymore. BigAnt Studios do, and the latest is Don Bradman Cricket 14.

Check it out.

HBK619 thanks for that :)

When did EA stop ?
When they decided that they would only ever make games that could be annualised and would sell at minimum 1 million copies.

Transmission/Trickstar made some Cricket games (Ashes 09, IC2010) culminating in the awful Ashes 2013.

BigAnt Studios now have the mantle, hopefully once and for all.

Will look into Don Bradman Cricket 14 then.

I take it the team line-ups are up to date

Each to their own and all of that... Opinions.... Blah blah blah
But I personally cannot understand the amount of people that rate cricket 07.

I mean sure it had all the licenses, stat tracking, extensive career mode but to me the gameplay was deplorable. I have bought every cricket game since international cricket on NES and 07 was the game I spent the least amount of time with.

For what it's worth Bradman cricket is fantastic!!! You'll enjoy it immensely.

For me personally, I think my whole love for the game stems from the amazing stat tracking. I'm a stats man, and find that a lot of games lack in that area. The gameplay was decent enough that I could play it. At the time with not as great technology as there is today, it was probably the best they could do. Just like any other sports game, they evolve over time - it just sucks EA stopped creating cricket games. DB 14 is though the best for gameplay, even though I suck at it.

Think hard about wasting your hard earned on DBC 14. It has more bugs than a forest. Looks and plays like it was made 10 years ago. If you're thinking about getting it on console - then definitely don't is my advice. It doesn't even work properly - freezes up and drops out all the time, particularly if you have a newish console.
