Hey guys, been keen on both games for a while, and really not sure.

If their are some quality job created characters in this game I will be key for sure...

Not sure what to get yet, probably try to get UFC Undisputed cheap as lots of people have said they dislike it.

Maybe I will get both (:

MMA is a lot more realistic than UFC.....I have both games by the way. UFC has the better roster though obviously, but MMA does have some pretty cool fighters as well. UFC has better graphics and presentation too, as well as more game modes.

I really can't pick one either , so I'm glad I've got both. MMA really is a lot more realistic though if you put some time in to get used to it. The career mode in both games is pretty good and although they are very different, I can't split that either.

UFC for the more casual fan I'd say and MMA if you want the fights to last longer and just feel better all round IMO (though UFC's fighting isn't bad by any stretch). Also, no lag for MMA's online but a fair bit for UFC's online sometimes.

Yeah don't have online currently, so really that wont be factored in...

I always tend to go towards the Rosters in games for some reason, normally out of the spirit of supporting the sport.

Not sure though, going to wait a little and get both games cheap hopefully (:

After some more game play time and started a season 7-0 and learning how to fight. ive changed my first single play review to a 6/10. i think its a game that will get boring very quick.

What difficulty are you on mate?

I'm on Hard (there is a 'legend' difficulty too) and I'm 12-0 with a few fights going to the judges.....BUT, I've only just got to the big leagues (Strike Force) and apparently it's meant to get a lot harder then. Also I'm a wrestler/submission guy and I seem to be fighting a lot of stand up guys so when I face another good sub guy, it should get interesting....

Gotta say though, so far UFC is harder, but I haven't even tried 'legend' difficulty in MMA yet so I'm in no position to judge yet. If it doesn't get harder now that I'm in Strike force, I'll start over on legend probably.

Edit: Just won my first strike force match by KO in under 2 minutes but now my next opponent has better stats than me in every department (Stand up, ground etc.) except for health and I've changed the difficulty to 'legend' in the options, instead of restarting. Will let you guys know how I go later when I do the match.

I was under the impression that the difficulty level increases as you go along in career mode regardless of what you have it set to? The minor league fights are very easy, but there's a notable step up every time you move up.
