Reckon Gaffy is a sneaky chance to take it out. Coxy must be close too.

With the actual club B&F award because each player can get up to 25 votes per game, so there is a bias towards players who play most games. I've always thought that was a bit of a flaw.

Just been looking at the AFLCA votes for our team, it's interesting to see what type of players the coaches feel have the biggest impact on games compared to us as supporters.

Code:
Scott Selwood 51
Luke Shuey 39
Dean Cox 37

Eric Mackenzie 4

Polled in the most games
8- Shuey, S.Selwood
7- Naitanui, Gaff, Kerr
6- Darling, Waters, Cox

Having Gaff, Naitanui, Darling, Shuey and S.Selwood polling in 6 or more games this year is a great sign IMO. Scooter, Shuey and NN and the three highest in terms of votes/game as well.

Max votes (10) in a game
3- Cox
2- S.Selwood, Shuey, Naitanui
1- Kerr, Kennedy, Rosa

Good to see, would be interesting to compare NicNats votes to last years..feel he's a lot more consistent this year while still being a little patchy.

Round 21 - Port Adelaide v West Coast @ Football Park

West Coast held a commanding lead by halftime and cruised home, winning by 48 points.

Votes will be announced at the end of the season.

Midfielder Scott Selwood had a welcome return to form, adding the Shane Bond medal to his two best-afield awards from the early part of the season.

Round 22 - West Coast v Collingwood @ Subiaco

After a sluggish start, West Coast took the lead in the second quarter and from there ran away with the match, easing to a 49 point win.

Votes will be announced at the end of the season.

Star mid Daniel Kerr dominated and added the Andrew Williams medal to his already-burgeoning trophy cabinet.

Selwood did have a little dip in form at one point in the season but overall he would have to be up their.

Its been a really consistent year by all our blokes

Defenders miss out on the votes but Schofield to me has been our best player this year.

Round 23 - Hawthorn v West Coast @ MCG

West Coast were blown away by a rampant Hawthorn in the first quarter and, despite a last-quarter fightback making the score respectable, dropped out of the top four with a 25 point loss.

Votes will be announced at the end of the season.

Young gun and leading goalkicker Jack Darling provided an effective forward target all night and wins the Michael Collica medal, his first best-on-ground performance of the season.

Elimination Final - West Coast v North Melbourne @ Subiaco

West Coast led from start to finish, North Melbourne showed the slightest hint of a comeback in the third quarter but were blown away in the fourth as the Eagles stormed to their biggest-ever finals win, a 96-point victory.

Votes will be announced shortly.

In the widest spread of voting we've had all year, Jack Darling got the most votes for his 4-goal, 8-mark effort and wins the Dean Laidley medal, his second BOG in a row.

Votes for the last match against Collingwood will close before the Sydney-Pies prelim starts.

The big countdown will begin after the grand final. In the meantime, feel free to have a go at predicting the final order in this thread. There might be some real surprises!

In a first for the season, Daniel Kerr and Eric MacKenzie received the same number of votes from the 35 voters. They share the Murray Rance Medal.
