So the idea of this thread is to cut and paste our entire below list. I've made it easy for you and wrote them all down in order. Next with each player of ours put in one of the below.

Delist, Retire, Trade , Rookie, Keep with the contract length you are given them

Disregard their current contract status. This is just us to work out and a fun way to work out what you think of our list going forward.

Yeah well technically they are on our 2022 list. I'm interested in seeing if anyone think any are worth rookie spots so they stay for the purpose of this thread.

They’re not on our list, we don’t have any rights to keep them.

Those that have been delisted by a club previously, we could theoretically sign as a delisted free agent. But the player we’d most likely be interested in is Florenca who we’d have to draft.

So Freeagent has a list that includes the WAFL guys and wants to trade/retire/delist 23 (exactly half) of them.
Archie removes the WAFL guys but still wants to trade/retire/delist 15 of 38, including Gaff, Darling, Cripps, Shuey and Gov.

That's like going to the hospital to get an ingrown toenail removed and waking up to find your leg's been amputated.

That's fair on all these players.

I stand by my delistings as they are all deadwood players and spinning the wheel on other players would make us better. It's a list clean out we desperately need. Can't carry them again in 2023.

Would rather rookie list 15 different players instead then the crap we got in the reserves that will never make it or push for selection.

Delist: Dixon, Joyce, Winder, Strnadica, Langdon

Retire: Kennedy

I don't think we will cut deeper than 6 or 7 players as quality down the dark end of the draft is abysmal.
West would be on the cusp as would Trew and Naish. I liked Trew's game on the weekend but need to see more. Naish is a younger Gaff.
I think Hurn's leadership down back might give him one more year.
Shuey's hamstrings are a concern but has the talent to play a HFF or HBF perhaps with short stints in the middle.
Yeo needs to run in straight lines so HBF with short midfield minutes.
Gaff is the biggest concern as defensively he doesn't have a game but is more a transition from defensive 50 to forward 50 and is replaceable by Naish/Chesser/Hough/Culley.

I delisted 5, traded three of the big money earners and retired some old boys.

Obviously, it's not that realistic but not for off either. There is no point of trimming around the edges
