Kennedy, Priddis, Glass, Cox, and Embley have all made the 40 man All australian squad.

Will be interesting to see who makes the final squad.

Glass, Priddis, Cox make final team I reckon. Those 5 making the 40 sounds about right. I believe if Butler had played the whole season he would have been a chance at back pocket. LeCras hasn't had the outstanding season to stand out ahead of the comp =- Milne, Stevie J, etc.

Glass and Coxy look good. Priddis has a lot of competition there. May just miss out. Franklin and Cloke are going to be selected ahead of JK, unfortunately.

Gotta tip my hat to Embley especially. He won't make the final 22 but he really stepped it up at crucial points in the season when we needed him. Fantastic comeback season from him.

Congrats to all :thumbsu:

All very deserving of it. Probably also worth adding Bock in the notable omissions, thought he is extremely stiff.

Expecting both Cox and Glass to get selected. Rest will be edged out.

Wow, good luck to the selectors culling 18 names from that list.
I find it hard to drop 10.
Cox and Glass should be definites.
Priddis has the stat's to get in but won't beat Judd, Swan, Peddles, Murphy, Selwood, Ablett etc etc etc.
Embers would have just made it into the 40 me thinks.

Thought Kennedy and Hurn had a chance though:confused:

Kennedy has a chance, was named :)

I think Cox and Glass should be in the starting 18, others to just miss although Embley or Priddis a smokey for the bench.

Cox certainty. Priddis and Glass a decent chance, Embley and Kennedy probably won't make it.
The last 10 AA teams had the following on their FF line

Hall Riewoldt
Fev Brown
Fev Franklin
Pav Mooney
Fev Riewoldt
Hall Everitt
Gehrig Hall
Lloyd Tarrant
Neitz Darcy
Ottens Lloyd

Given only 3 tall forwards have been named - he's a good chance. Though they may sneak Adam Goodes into the position - rather than up the ground

Franklin and Cloke will be FF and CHF though.

Franklin deserves to be HFF. He doesn't play like a FF or a CHF. He plays like one beast of a HFF.

From an eagles prospective best case scenario
HF: Franklin - Cloke - ???
F: Goodes - Kennedy - ???

Won't happen but seriously, Franklin plays like a HFF more than he does as a KPF.

Glass and Cox should make it. Priddis might be a smokey for the bench, Embley gets mentioned about his All Australian form every single game, maybe he can hype his way into the team. Kennedy might sneak in considering that Buddy should be more CHF i reckon, but we all know they will chuck some midfielder thats kicked averaged a goal a game in the HF line.

Shocked by the number of people saying Fyfe. Had a great year but I reckon based on this year along I would probably pick 30 or 40 players in front of him. On future development would be a different story though.:)
