That’s a good team selection, nice to see knights mixing it up and picking an actual ruckman in jamieson. Dixon been ok but not setting the world on fire up forward. Really interest to see harry play Ruck. By chance we may discover something. We look more fleet of foot. Tag neale and rich and we may be a chance with daniher and hipwood out. Slight chance I think

I think your on to something here and I think the club should approach selection like this every week: That is:

• write down all the available players
• realise you have one tall too many so pick one of the new/unproven ones to miss out (probably the one that needs a rest or has an injury concern)
• have someone other than Simmo do the press conference

Fans, fan boys and non fans all agree your selections are inspired.

I want to know why the other wafl guys weren’t selected. If I was a local wafl club and they took one of my best players and then he didn’t get selected, meaning that I couldn’t use them either, I’d be pretty ****ing pissed off.

Fagan has added an unknown to our game. He has let the players take ownership of the preparation and messaging for this game. Says it's the first time ever in his coaching career.

Definately an unknown that could backfire.

BTW Harris has played forward before and there is a strong group of lions fans who are keen to have it happen more often. I won't be surprised if he does play forward.

Excited to see how Florenca goes.
Mentioned him in the draft thread last year about being a possible mature age recruit. Has good WAFL form & still only 25 so who knows.

I remember someone saying he had the talent to play AFL but that he wasn’t that interested.

Great to see Florenca get a game. A dream come true. All the best to him.
