Barney you don't seem to rate many players , last year you thought England was a much better prospect then Patmore ...hope for the Eagles sake you are right with that one .
Don't mind the players they drafted last year. Bayok is starting to look like a footballer. Rotham getting better.

They are playing England in a back pocket at the moment so will have to wait and see what happens when he joins the midfield rotation.

Watson just makes too many mistakes. The problem is they are the same mistakes he was making 12 months ago. Just not learning.

Totally agree on Partington stat padding little bitch that plays for himself, he is so selfish drives me crazy.
He wouldn't know a one percenter if it hit him the face.

Francis Watson is just going through a bad patch of field and will come good again, he isnt taking on the game like he used to,
and his confidence is down a little.
I think he will turn it around, he is a lovely kick of the footy and is a good decision maker when he plays his natural game.
He needs to stop thinking and just react trust his first instinct, when he does that he doesn't turn it over.

Get him out of the backline.

Brayden Ainsworth’s former colts coach Beau Wardman has declared the midfielder ready to make his West Coast debut after a string of impressive WAFL performances.

“I think he’s ready to go,” Wardman said. “All the signs are there. When the game needed players to be physical and win their own ball, he did it.

“His efficiency with the ball has clearly improved this year.

“He’s got elite endurance and his ability to win the ball at ground level means he plays with the same style as Shuey.

“What I’ve always seen with him is his performances have always gone up when he’s gone up a level. He’s met every challenge and that’s what has set him apart from other players.”

Regarding Watson that sounds like we are over coaching him. Now he is thinking too much and has lost some confidence.

Needs to get back to basics and play on instinct.

I remember watching Watson a couple of years ago when he was being touted as a possible draft selection. The problems he had then still exist. His first thought seems to be to show how evasive he can be and as a result puts himself under pressure and then either makes the wrong decision or rushes his disposal. The result of that is he sprays the ball. He has good speed and height and those evasion skills may be useful at times but it just seems to me that he should do the simple things like give off the first good option or run past to provide options for someone else. It's almost like he's trying to impress every time he gets the ball.

I have to agree with you about Watson. On the other hand I have been surprised about Bayok.he seems to have come on in leaps and bounds and seems to make good decisions under pressure.

“The fountain of youth that has cascaded over the West Coast Eagles this season is also gushing with WAFL partner club East Perth.”

Settle down Stocksy.
Seems like Stocksy has dragged out it yr 12 English Literature study notes and used all the big words he could find in one story.

I like this Brandner fellow who's "ubiquitous" influence means he is omnipresent, present everywhere, all-pervasive, universal, worldwide and global.

Hell just clear out the fwd line for him and let him play 1 on 6.

If he was writing about the Rosco scandal, he would probably say Rosco fondled her "callipygian glory" rather than saying he grabbed her arse!

Think it was her burgeoning mammaries that got him in trouble.

Yet for all his big words he is short on basic grammar knowledge. who's = who is, he needed to use 'whose'.

In: Anderson, Blee, Cahill, Dobson, Eaton, Fraser, McGinnity, Waite, Young

Out: Ah Chee, Ainsworth, Mutimer, Schofield (all WCE), O.Allen, Karpany (Partingtons)

No idea what's up with Ollen and Karps. I'm presuming they haven't been dropped. Reserves side isn't out yet.

Mutimer and Schofield will probably come back in along with another Eagles emergency.

Edit: Reserves side is out. Only Burrows is in it, no Ollen, Karps or Olango.

Think Oscar had a bit of a knee injury from last game.
