The Eagles were unbeaten for several weeks at the beginning of 1999, in a streak which included the glorious slaughter of Essendon (also unbeaten until that game).

Which team broke the Eagles' winning streak, and where?

I think Adelaide broke it, I'll take a punt and say at Footy Park.

I've got it written down in this little booklet in a drawer within reach, i'm really tempted to grab it and look. Lucky I'm an honest person ;)

Hang on Mr Q - wasn't Woosha dropped in 1998?

I thought it was '99 but I have been known to be wrong. Very occasionally. Thought it was the game v Western Bulldogs at the MCG week 1 '99.

How about Waverley for the venue, with either the Hawks or the Saints?

Well I'm off home for the weekend. Go the Lions.

From a non-Eagle fan if memory serves correctly you won about 8 in a row and then got beaten by the Saints at Waverly by about 6 goals who were also doing really well-maybe had lost only 1 game.

Yep, it was the Saints, we were beaten by 20 points in Round 7 at Waverly.

Spot on GoEagles. 'Twas Willo, and in a Richmond jumper, too.

Met him once at Subiaco oval in the summer. Was a great dude. Signed a copy of the eagles year book for me with, To Carly, keep smiling. Go Eagles in 1993!

Not being in Claremont's zone, they agreed to pay for my education at Christchurch Grammar so I would be in their zone. In my final year of school, I played 2 senior games with the Tigers before being chosen as part of West Coast's inaugural squad. During my time at the Eagles I completed a Sports Science degree at UWA. I am....
